Today we live in a society where social networks and online access almost always allow us to take revenge on anyone, but how far will you go to get revenge for the horrible attack against you? baby? Will our somewhat religious man turn the other cheek, or will God's righteous wrath fall on the murderer and those around him? A New Jersey pastor (Lombardi) gets into trouble when his daughter is brutally murdered by a local crime boss.

Well, of course you do. Otherwise, the movie will be very short, and I'll write a review here, and you won't be able to read it here before deciding whether to go to the movies or not. (Spoiler alert, it's only in theaters for one night, so you better hurry; you can buy tickets at the link above, or read on and use the link at the bottom of the review.)

Retaliators is a fairly slow movie, with the first part of the movie being a dark meditation on loss and grief. All credit goes to Michael Lombardi, who carried the film on his shoulders especially in the moments of silence, which he managed to finish with flying colors. Her transformation from cheerful priestess to vengeful angel is a spectacle full of contempt and compassion, as it is the genuine manic energy that is often missing from these types of movies.

As the main villain of the film, Joseph Ghat made a huge contribution in making his character, Ram Khadi, a character we can all relate to; You will get the popularity you deserve. Like the detective who helped our priest and our biker gang get revenge on the Ghat. I say the main villain because in this film there is a layer of dark gray between the darkness and the morality of the main narrative thread of the film. This gives the film the perfect touch that fits perfectly with this type of revenge thriller. This isn't a Liam Neeson Hollywood blockbuster; It's a bloody, bloody, brutal movie that makes you feel like you're swimming in a ditch at a local morgue, just like you should feel in a movie like this.

Fortunately, the filmmakers decided to stick to practical effects; The amount of horror movies I've seen recently with a similar budget that use CGI gore is sickening. The blood and the organs must always be moist and physical; We wanted it, so kudos to the production team for keeping it real.

This movie has a lot of cameos and cameos from different heavy metal singers, but when Limp Bizkit comes on the scene, you stop listening to heavy metal and most of the Easter eggs go through my head. Which brings me to the first of my two complaints about this excellent horror film. The soundtrack is not a matter of taste, as the songs used here complement the film in many ways; The heavy, heavy set of songs should be perfect for a band, regardless of whether the band likes it or not, but the soundtrack is a mess. You walk into the movie as a drunk uncle at your grandmother's funeral. It was so bad that I stayed in two places in the movie. However, your mileage may vary and I am too old for this group.

The second complaint about this movie is that it is too long; Some unnecessary scenes can be easily removed from the final cut without affecting the movie at all. In one scene, the editing greatly enhances the overall enjoyment of the movie, which is so hard it's surprising. This is very unfortunate; If they had done better, the theme of the Pope talking about his faith would have made this movie more emotionally charged.

But beyond these complaints, Relatators is a very entertaining movie. As the action unfolds, he doesn't hesitate to take the audience on a brutal and bloody journey of revenge. By the time you get to the wacky ending (no spoilers here, but some of you may remember wearing tracksuits), you'll be fully invested in this witty revenge horror flick. ,
