In movie trailers

A trailer (also called a trailer or teaser video) is basically a commercial advertisement for a film that will later be shown in a cinema or theater. It is the result of creativity and technical work... Trailers consist of selected footage from the announced film.

Since [this ad] is designed to draw viewers into the film, these clips are usually from the most interesting, funniest or notable parts of the film, but in an abbreviated form and usually without spoilers.

Therefore, the scenes do not necessarily have to be in the order in which they appear in the film. [This ad type] must reach the maximum duration allowed by AMP in less than 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Each studio or distributor may extend this deadline once a year if it is deemed necessary for a particular film.

There are dozens of companies in the United States that specialize in creating movie trailers, most of them in Los Angeles and New York. The trailer can be created at agencies (e.g. The Cimarron Group, MOJO, The Ant Farm, Ben Cain, Aspect Ratio, Flyer Entertainment, Trailer Park, Buddha Jones) while the film itself is edited in the studio.

Since the edited film is currently not available, the trailer editors are working in a hurry or from daily newspapers. Therefore, the trailer may contain footage that is not in the final film, or the trailer editor and film editor may use different images of a particular shot. Another common technique is to include music in the trailer that does not appear on the film's soundtrack.

This is almost always necessary because trailers and trailers are created long before a composer is hired for a film (sometimes a year before the film's release date), while composers are usually the last creators to work on them. Movie

The trailer tells the story of the film in a very condensed manner for maximum appeal. Over the decades, as film marketing became a major industry, trailers became highly polished promotional items that could showcase even weak films in an attractive way.

The main purpose of creating a trailer is to tell an interesting story that will emotionally engage the audience in the film.

Most trailers have a three-act structure, similar to the structure of a feature film. You start with the beginning (Act 1), which forms the basis of the story. The middle part (Act 2) continues the story and usually ends with a dramatic climax.

The third act usually features a strong "signature score" (either a recognizable song or a large, powerful orchestral piece). This final act is often a visual montage of the film's powerful and emotional moments, and if there are big stars that can help sell a film, it can also be the actors.
