Look, Mission. Impossible is one of my favorite movie franchises and Macquarie and Tom Cruise perfected it. In my opinion , Mission. Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1 is the perfect movie in the series. The director tells a fascinating story that skillfully weaves an intricate web of plot and plot. The story's twists and turns unfold with such subtlety and nuance that it's hard to guess what's going to happen, all leading up to an incredibly intense ending that will leave the audience shocked and wanting more.
Death-defying stunt master Tom Cruise has once again raised the bar for action sequences in the series. It's pretty impressive to see Cruise risking his damn life to entertain an audience. In this movie, he rides a motorcycle off a cliff and jumps off a base; He pulls off a stunt in one of the best car chase scenes ever filmed. Fight on a real train. And he runs fast, one of the most dangerous sports in the world. The man really knows how to have fun and his commitment to performing these amazing stunts is second to none and it's a joy to see his dedication on the big screen.
While the stunts and cinematography are top notch, the story is also incredibly strong. Like Top Gun. Maverick, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One is a great example of how to make a great movie that will appeal to everyone. Other studios should follow Cruise and Macquarie's lead in developing their flagship franchises. These guys make smart, fair decisions, and I love that they do it the hard way.
This talented team doesn't cut corners. They have a solid script, they do everything they can with the job, they take the time to do it with precision and accuracy, and it shows in the end. You can see the quality and care that went into the production of the film. There is currently no such thing in Hollywood. So it's great to see that there are filmmakers out there who put thought into their projects and don't release anything shoddy.

This is a movie that grabs you by the collar from the first frame and doesn't let go until the credits roll.
