'Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One' Review: Tom Cruise Does Action Romcom
The summer is already full of sequels: Guardians of the Galaxy. 3 Fast X and Spider-Man. Beyond the spider The mission, reminiscent of Indiana Jones and the Bell of Destiny , is a happy simplicity. Impossible: The Death Wages Part One.
Tom Cruise's spy franchise doesn't mean you have to rewatch past movies to follow the story of the latest movie. It won't take much work for the audience to sit back and watch Ethan Hunt kick their asses and go completely bonkers, for God's sake.
"Mission. This seventh installment of the Impossible franchise brings back regular cast members Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson and Henry Czerny, who were absent from the first film in 1996. Remember who is who and what came before, because these films are not about knowledge, but about formulas. If you're a fan of the franchise, Mission: Impossible. Death Worth Part First will have you on the edge of your seat and will shake you to the bone. It's just scientific.
What is "Mission Impossible" about? Payment of death" part 1 .

The canvas of the plot is familiar. Mission: Impossible Squad agent Ethan Hunt is offered a chance to save the world if he accepts. (Spoiler: It will.) Along the way, he'll don incredible costumes, use incredible spy technology, connect with good friends and enemies, and defy death through a series of difficult, clever escapes.
Details this time. Hunt is searching for two pieces of a mysterious key needed to control an intelligent artificial intelligence that accidentally hacks all the world's governments and banking systems. Whoever holds these keys must control the "Entity" as the AI is called. But first they must search the depths of the oceans, the tops of the mountains, and the racing trains in between to find this multi-faceted MacGuffin.
Although Ethan was initially asked by IMF chief Eugene Kittridge (Cherney) to find the key, he was repeatedly arrested by the government, which immediately dismissed and prosecuted him. To defeat the American agents (including Shea Whigham), the suspicious Lady White Widow (Vanessa Kirby) and the assassins (Isaiah Morales and Pom Klementiev) to the end, Ethan Benji Dunn (Peg) joins his loyal friends Luther. Stickel (Rams) and Ilsa Faust (Ferguson), as well as the mysterious pickpocket Grace, played by the seductive Hayley Atwell. Together and (again) without pity, they will do the impossible to save humanity from the machine that threatens it.
And don't worry, with so many exhibits, you'll never feel like you've missed an appointment or a movie.
Mission Impossible 7 brings new entertainment with romantic comedy elements.

In this franchise, Ethan Hunt falls in love with several beautiful brunettes who, while tough as nails, have hearts of gold. This time his love interest is a smiling Hayley Atwell, dressed in neat vests and tops that hug her curves, while the sleeves give her a Flemish flair. Her clean and elegant aesthetic contrasts sharply with the brightness of the White Widow's femme fatale and the wild beauty of the late Ilsa. Atwell subverts the ferocity that Peggy Carter brought to the MCU, and whether she's pulling a vicious prank or handcuffing her troubled ally to death, she has a bubbly charisma more suited to a rom-com than a spy thriller. :
As writer/director, Christopher McQuarrie is painstakingly crafting “The Mission. Impossible. An epic action sequence from Deathly Hallows Part One, he finds new delights to weave into this proud and whimsical romantic plot. The car chase, inspired by the identity of Bourne , is fast and furious, winding through the narrow streets and famous staircases of Rome. But there is an added level of excitement and humor when Grace and Ethan argue and joke. Cruise can take these films too seriously, but thankfully Macquarie finds ways to inject some harmony to create a light-hearted balance.
While the iconic hero has overcome a rocky romance in the latest Indiana Jones film, Cruise refuses to age his title character. Likewise, there's no sense that this is Ethan's last journey, and he's less melancholy about mortality. Instead, Ethan, even in the face of death, is young, quick-witted, and ready to love. (Did he have a wife? What happened to him? Not this movie, anyway.) Cruise and Atwell have great chemistry, and the racing and romance in this world tour is a joy.
Mission: Impossible 7 has a very late release date.

In general, the Mission. Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One is as thorough and fun as you'd expect. With smiles and sly glances, the set mocks bombs and double crosses, playing off the theme of skydiving, sword fighting and racing to a new level. Some of the franchise's quirks seem a bit odd, such as Ethan's return to US government-sanctioned espionage work and his refusal to bring an assault weapon. (In one episode, they have a lot of firepower, but nothing dangerous in their sphere.)
We're not even halfway through July yet, but the mission! Elements of Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One is already reminiscent of previous summer releases. The Fast and the Furious set in Rome is reminiscent of the bloodier Fast X episodes. The multitude of MacGuffins reminds us of the score for the new Indiana Jones movie, as well as the fight scene on the high-speed train. The dire threat of AI growing in real life, perhaps especially in Hollywood, was more evident in Black Mirror Season 6 than it is here, where the Entity is so close to a digital god and its algorithm is precise. just like before. The Power of Prophecy Even this movie's cliffhanger ending feels contrived because it goes beyond Spider-Verse and the Fast X gimmick, though here the first part at least gives us a heads-up.
Pom Klementiev mercilessly steals scenes.

However, the Mission. Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One has a lot of fun waiting for you. Along with the gonzo action that Tom Cruise calls his movie star, there's great romance, Atwell's kinetic charm, Ferguson's smiling sensuality, Peggy's apoplectic comic relief, and Kirby's sweet, playful touch in the third act. . There are no weak players in the cast, be it Morales as the hardened assassin or Greg Tarzan as the disillusioned Agent Davis. But the actors of "Guardians of the Galaxy" have the most fun here. Pom Klementiev from 3 .
Playing an assassin named Paris, he sinks his teeth into the landscape, seeing cobblestone streets, neon-lit parties and crowded train cars as runways for fashion and gruesome violence. His character has no apparent story or motivation for 99% of his screen time, and he has so few lines that when he does speak the point, you think, "Oh, I guess Paris is French!" But the fact that McQuarrie and co-writer Eric Jendresen got the part isn't a problem for Klementiev.
Her wide-eyed praying mantis sweetness is killed by an evil smile. Paris' punk edge comes through in outfits that mix plaid mini skirts, Harley Quinn face paint with tailored military jackets and a business suit with a faded blonde bob for a retro 2000s look. In a Clementian way, it's exciting. just wear these fancy Jill Taylor outfits. he fills them with a burning desire for carnage as his car races through the motorcycle park, screeching with glee as he fires small arms into an ambushed alley. When the film suddenly demands that the audience see Paris as more than an almost silent, brazenly brutal killer, it almost succeeds, as Klementiev brings this agent of chaos to life.

Finally, even with a caveat, Mission. It is impossible. Death Wages Part One is definitely an exciting movie with plenty of star power, a stunt show and a cruise control special. “Atwell and even rum. -com spells and Klementiev as an entertaining prankster. Its highs and lows are muted through no fault of its own, if only because of the harshness of the comparisons to other big summer releases. But it's still a fun time at the movies if you choose to embrace it.
