Mia (Sophie Wilde) wants to attend events to distract herself on the anniversary of her mother's death, but when her friends gather for the next game, they're not prepared for the consequences of breaking the rules with prolonged contact.

As shown in the new trailer, Mia can't remove her hand within the suggested 90 seconds, meaning the boundary between the two worlds is breached.
"How did my hand feel?" - Mia's friend asks, and she answers. "It was a strange feeling, I could feel and see everything that was beyond, I could feel my mother and she was trying to reach out to me."
But before long, supernatural visions begin to haunt Mia, and she fears she hasn't closed the door on the other side.

At the time of writing , Talk to Me has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 97% from 60 reviews.
"The film isn't just about jump scares, and its horror is bone-deep, ultimately unnerving," says Screen Rant's review.
Collider said: "Whether it's up to the viewer, but Talk to Me has plenty that promises to capture the spirit of creepy patients looking for a ghostly sight."
Meanwhile , Variety described it as "a confident effort with elements that are interesting enough to keep the audience interested without really scaring you."
Talk To Me hits theaters on July 28.
