Movie Review/The Flash

It's been two weeks since Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hit theaters, so it's time for another multiverse superhero movie. This game is set in the DC Extended Universe, which means we're sure to have fun versions of Batman and Superman. It's enough to make you forget that The Flash is even in this film, despite his name being the film's full title.

It's no wonder the title character has received less attention, given that actor Ezra Miller has been entangled in scandal after scandal over the last three years. However, if you ignore Miller's off-screen behavior (and I can't blame you if you don't), you'll find films featuring Batman, Superman, and especially Flash justice.

Medical examiner chemist Barry Allen (Miller) is a fast-paced superhero, always good at saving multiple lives at once, but his real passion is finding a way to prove he's not the father (Ron Livingstone). he killed his mother (Maribel Verdu) when he was young, for the crime for which his father spent the last twenty years in prison.

One night, while running very fast, Barry discovers that he can reverse the Earth's rotation and travel through time. If he uses this new ability properly, he can not only save his father from prison, but also save his mother's life. Justice League member Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) warns him not to do anything, but what's the danger of life-saving ketchup? Sure, 20 years ago it didn't hurt, but 10 years ago it was devastating.

It turns out that Barry's time travel has changed not only the past he wanted, but also the past after him and the past before him. There's a very convoluted explanation involving spaghetti and a mysterious abuser, but the short version is that Barry is now stuck ten years ago, with his younger self (and his parents, whom he desperately wants to beat the new), Superman and General. . Zod
(Michael Shannon) Invading Earth, preparing to destroy humanity.

There's only one member of the Justice League in this universe, and that's an older version of Batman (Michael "99% of the movies" Keaton) who may be set for the final adventure. Barry reckons his mission to save the planet will eventually involve Superman, but he has to settle for his cousin Kara (Sasha Calle).

We have a very fun and very cute action scene with motherhood at the beginning of the movie, after that the action gets boring. It's nice to see Keaton back, but the story is also getting boring. Shannon and Calle are always bored. Only two things kept me awake for more than two hours: Barry's journey and a treat for the multiverse. I take the first point seriously - Miller is funny, interesting, and has
Chemistry is free... by itself. I hope he repays his debt to society as soon as he returns to the screen.

As for the multiverse surprises that are driving fans crazy, you're in for it, don't worry. Sure, there were some setbacks, but do yourself a favor and don't base your viewing experience solely on that. Firstly, it was necessary to wait a long time because the best came out only in the third test. Most importantly, don't let the tunnel vision of the cameo get in the way of making a good Flash movie.

B level
The Flash is rated PG-13 for violence and action, sometimes for profanity and sometimes for nudity. Duration 146 minutes.
