Review: M3GAN Is A Playful Horror Movie That Delivers Creepiness And Laughs
Producers James Wan and Jason Blue , masters of modern horror, delivered another great horror flick with M3GAN . The film centers on an AI-powered robot doll, a technological horror that becomes self-aware and starts killing people. I really liked the images that were shared in the trailers, but I wasn't sure what to expect from the movie yet, and the biggest surprise for me was the amount of humor that went into the story!
The movie was full of moments that had me and the rest of the audience laughing hysterically throughout the movie. There were a lot of fun moments in the movie, but she also conveyed some of the funniest and most hilarious moments in the movie. The weird dance sequence in the trailer that everyone's been talking about? It's one of the less exciting moments in the movie. So if you're excited, wait and see what the store has in store!
The film is directed by Gerard Johnston , who also directed Australian horror film Houseboard , and the screenplay is by Akella Cooper ( Malignant, The Nun 2 ). This creative team has done an amazing job bringing this story to life, and it's unlike any killer game movie you've seen before. M3GAN has a unique flavor that I think will appeal to the masses.
There are still a lot of detractors who are not sold on the movie, but I feel like everyone is talking about how good this movie is. There will be a flood of words and critics will not be able to ignore it. Finally saw the movie and loved it. This is one of those movies in my opinion!
The story revolves around Qazi, a young woman who lives with her Aunt Gemma after losing her parents in a car accident. Gemma is Kid's best friend and Dad's best partner from a game company that makes a technologically advanced AI-like game known as M3GAN . A child who relates can listen, see and learn as they become a friend, teacher, player and guardian. That girl will eventually become Caddy, and M3GAN will do whatever it takes to protect her, even killing those who wronged her.
This is the basic plot, I won't go into details of the other stories. It is best to watch this movie knowing as little as possible. The film stars Allison Williams (" Get Out, Perfection ") as Gemma , Violet McGraw as Cady, Ronnie Chiang (" Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings "), Brian Jordan Alvarez (" Will & Grace "), and Gene Van Eps (" Cowboy Bebop "). ). ))) Laurie Dungy (The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition ) and Stephen Garneau-Montagne ( Live ). They're all good in the movie, but Williams and McGrath definitely stand out. But the real star of the movie is M3GAN.
This movie was very interesting to watch and will provide the audience with a lot of cinema entertainment!
