Well... Halloween is definitely approaching. This week we have another horror movie. Spoiler alert... it's awesome! Barbarian is a film I know very little about, and that's a good thing. From the trailer, it looks like a young woman is about to move into a house that's been booked on Airbnb and is double booked. There's a creepy guy standing by (played by the actor who played Pennywise in the IT remake) and things get weird. Is this going to be an all-out stalker movie??? Let's see how good it is.

In the movie.

We open and meet our heroine Tess (Campbell) as she approaches a seemingly ordinary house in a beautiful suburb. Check the email. Get the code to use the key lock and go to the front porch. It's dark and rainy and she wants to go inside. The sound of rain hitting the roof adds to the eerie atmosphere and you immediately feel our need and desire to get inside. However, without a key. what's happening??? Tess (Campbell) drives back to the car, but the house lights come on. He ran to the front door and knocked on the door and window. A man named Keith (Skarsgård) opens the door. He was confused.

Keith (Skarsgard) starts asking questions and offers a bedroom for the night after a misunderstanding. He sleeps on the couch. Tess (Campbell) hesitates, but eventually goes in. He wants to see their booking confirmation (they used different companies) and remains cautious. It's a good job. Be smart. My only complaint with the movie is that there is an unnecessary dilemma that forces the two to spend time together. Tess (Campbell) says she has a problem with the sheets and needs a clean sheet...so Keith (Skarsgård) offers to wash them. A little strange, but the actors start talking. They are associated with music and wine. It looks like the guy will either be a serial killer or lock the heroine in his house. I'll say something about the plot and nothing more... it's not happening! Or yes.

If you are a fan of the horror genre. Watch this movie. The cast is likeable, funny, brave and sometimes scary. It is working. The twists and turns are amazing. We're watching a movie one way, boom, there's a 180! keep it up. Let's go to the other side. They have layers upon layers of stories, and eventually merge together. It made a big impression on me. Another aspect to praise is the cinematography. As a leader, you have an opportunity. Flashlight shots above. The director uses darkness as his character. You will see every light as our cabin. This is a movie you will always talk about and think about for days, if not weeks. My brother Aaron, a horror fan, said of the film: “I didn't know much about it and was expecting a generic horror film, but it turns everything about horror on its head. Watch this movie. 5 out of 5 stars
