The first reaction to Black Panther 2 came after the world premiere of Wakanda Forever. They've been very positive so far, with many commenting on how "interesting" Marvel movies are, even praising Tenoch Huerta as Namor's new villain.

The film depicts the pain of the Wakandan nation after the death of King T'Challa (played by the late Chadwick Boseman). Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M'Baku, Okoye, and Dora Milaje face their grief as they struggle to protect their borders from the Namor-controlled underwater kingdom of Talokan. And judging by the teaser in the trailer, it looks like a new character is taking on the Black Panther cape.

The anticipation for the upcoming film is high given the huge box office numbers of Black Panther and critical acclaim. It will also have big implications for the MCU as it marks the end of Marvel's Phase 4 and we delve into the Multiverse saga.

"It's hard to shake off the emotional baggage of #BlackPanther #WakandaForever throughout the film," wrote reviewer Josie Meléndez. "More serious in tone, a great conclusion to phase four. Celebrate women as the fiercest defenders."

The Hollywood Reporter's Brian Davids said, "Black Panther: #WakandaForever is Marvel's most poignant and powerful film. It's heavy and dark as it should be, largely ignoring the importance of the studio." According to The Verge's Charles Pulliam-Moore, the film "has a greater scope and reach than #BlackPanther, but the story is also one of Marvel's most intimate and thrilling."

"#WakandaForever is a beautiful tribute to Chadwick and the pain of losing him," wrote reviewer Laura Sirikul. “This film is about sadness and what it can do for someone. It is also very well played and very brutal. I need some time to process this.

Collider's Steven Weintraub wrote: "I know you can't believe it when people come out of a world premiere and say a movie is great ... but #BlackPantherWakandaForever is a great sequel and a great film. I know. I don't see it. now in your rolling eyes.

“#WakandaForever is by far the best Marvel movie since Avengers: Endgame,” added critic Samuel Leggett Jr. “The coverage, photography, acting and raw emotions on and off the screen are palpable!

"Black Panther: Wakanda Forever looks like a war movie," tweeted critic Tessa Smith. "It's moving, heavy, intense and phenomenal. Namor is an extraordinary and powerful villain. #WakandaForever is all about pain, loss and revenge. You're not ready for the Marvel logo and half the credits. Honors Chadwick perfectly."

As Collider's Perri Nemiroff said, “#BlackPanther Wakanda Forever is awesome. A very powerful story to go on - at times heartbreaking, but also incredibly cathartic and moving. I can't talk about how this film deserves that title. "

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released in theaters on November 11, 2022. To learn more about the MCU, here are all the upcoming Marvel movies and how to watch Marvel movies in order.
