Smile Releases One Freaky Final Trailer

The horror film Smile has released its latest trailer ahead of its theatrical release this week. This new trailer for Smile comes with the added bragging rights of quality critical reviews, including one from ComicBook.com's Chris Killian, who called the film "Deliciously Creepy" in his review. Smile stars Susie Bacon ( Narcos: Mexico, Easttown Mar ), Jesse T. Usher ( The Boys ), Kyle Gallner ( Scream 2022), Caitlin Stacey ( APB, Bridge and Tunnel ), Robin Weigert ( American Horror Story, Deadwood ), Judy Reyes ( Scrubs ), Rob Morgan ( Stranger Things ) and Cal Penn ( Harold and Kumar ) and the debut of writer/director Parker Finn. You can get the official summary below.

After witnessing a strange and traumatic accident involving a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter (Bacon) begins to experience terrifying events that she cannot explain. Rose must face her horrific past in order to survive and escape her terrifying new reality.

Smiles came out of nowhere to create quite a stir based solely on the strength of their marketing campaign. The crux of the movie is some kind of evil being that turns people into strangely smiling demonic versions of themselves. The shot showing the actor's unexpected evil smile has become an effective marketing tool on all platforms. Social media campaigns have taken on the viral effect of ads that fool normal-faced people and suddenly turn weird when they scroll, which begs the question, what movie is that?

While the cast isn't automatically appealing, Smile is full of up-and-coming talent. Susie Bacon (daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick) is definitely in the spotlight, Usher is a star thanks to The Boys , and the rest of the cast is a mix of veterans like Penn, Reyes and Weigert, or newly proven talent. like Gallner and Stacey. Horror has also been successful at the box office as a genre; Another lesser-known horror film by a first-time director ( Barbaros ) topped the US box office in early September. A smile can end the month with the same success.

If you want to take advantage of Smile's marketing campaigns, Paramount is running a fun pre-launch.
