Kaatera Review: Darshan Thoogudeepa Shines In Rural Action Drama

Katera, a Kannada action drama, will hit the theaters on December 29, 2023. Directed by Tharu Kishore Sudhir, the film stars Darshan, Jagapathi Babu and Radhana Ram in lead roles. Produced by Rockline Venkatesh under the banner Rockline Entertainment.

'Kathira' marks Darshan and Tarun's third collaboration after Robert's blockbuster success. Moreover, Radhana made her debut as a lead actress in the film Ram Katera.

The makers of the film claim that the film is based on real events, such as the 1989 incident when two villages, Bhimanahalli and Malenahalli, were preparing for a fair. The preparation includes the recording of Katiar, who goes to jail for his cause and is released on probation for 10 days. While plowing the site for the exhibition, 107 large skeletons were found.

For those who don't know, Katera screenings begin at midnight in some cinemas, with subsequent screenings scheduled at 3 and 5 p.m.
