With 10,690,288 viewers in just 34 days, it surpassed this year's box office leader, Criminals 3 (10,682,813 viewers).
That makes 12.12: The Tag is one of South Korea's most successful films and has surpassed blockbusters such as Parasite, Frozen, Interstellar, Avengers: Age of Ultron and The Clown King. . 12:12 p.m.: The day marks a major milestone for starrer Jung Woo Sung and director Kim Sung Soo as it is their first film to cross the 10 million mark in ticket sales. For actor Hwang Jung-min, this success is the third after "Ode to My Father" (2014) and "Veteran" (2015). The collaboration between Jung Woo Sung and director Kim Sung Soo is their fifth project together. Director Kim Sung-soo has previously directed successful noir action films such as Beat (1997), City of Sunrise (1999) and Asura: The City of Madness (2016).
Known for his roles in hit films such as A Moment to Remember (2004), The Good, the Bad, the Weird (2008) and It's Still Raining (2017), Jung Woo Sung has made a name for himself in big films, which earned more than 10 million tickets at the box office, joining the circle of famous actors.
