Poor Things: Release Date, Cast, Trailer And Plot As First Reviews Land
Emma Stone's new film, Les Miserables, caused a stir in the film industry months before its official release.
The film premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in early September to an eight-minute standing ovation and was the preliminary winner of the following year's awards season.

Rumors are swirling around the new film by Yorgos Lanthimos, which follows the hits Lobsters, Lover and The Killing of a Sacred Deer. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming drama.
"Bad Things" release date
Before its official theatrical release, Beduli will be screened at various festivals. In the fall, after Venice, the film will screen at the Telluride Film Festival, the New York Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival.
But those hoping to see the movie during its regular theatrical release will have to wait a bit longer. Poor Things will be released on January 12, 2024 in the UK and December 8, 2023 in the US.
This means that the film is perfect to go into awards season, especially the Oscars.
Planning bad actions
Lanthimos' new film is a genre-focused Frankenstein movie starring Emma Stone as Bella Baxter, a werewolf resurrected by eminent scientist Dr. Jones. Godwin Baxter.
The film is based on Alasdair Gray's novel of the same name, and Stone does her best to fully embrace the role. The actor has previously said that he needs to "feel free" to act in the most intense scenes in the film.

The poor guys follow Bella under the supervision of a doctor. Baxter when she develops a desire to continue learning and growing and elopes with attorney Duncan Wedderburn to avoid society's expectations. Bella is determined to stand up for equality and freedom.

Les Miserables was directed by Stone, who met with her director for The Favourite, who praised her portrayal of Bella, with critics calling her performance "amazing" and "brave".

He is joined by Willem Dafoe as a doctor. Baxter and Mark Ruffalo as Wedderburn in the supporting cast.
The cast also includes Rami Yousef, Jarrod Carmichael, Vicki Pepperdine, and Kate Handford.
