The award-winning director and two promising young actors premiered their new 2023 film We're All Strangers , a supernatural drama that has generated a lot of buzz after screening at several fall film festivals.
Searchlight Pictures BAFTA-nominated director and screenwriter Andrew Haig is behind All of Us Strangers . It features a talented cast including Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal and Claire Foy.

Following screenings at select fall film festivals , We're All Strangers will receive a limited release in US theaters on December 22 and will open in additional markets in the coming weeks. It will then open in the UK on January 26 2024.

Haig wrote the screenplay based on the novel We Are All Strangers by Taichi Yamada. Here's the official description of the film:
“One night in an empty tower block in modern London, Adam unexpectedly meets Harry, a mysterious neighbor who disrupts the rhythm of his daily life. As their relationship develops, Adam confronts memories of his past. The neighborhood where he grew up and the childhood home where his parents lived 30 years ago to the day they died.”

Adam and Harry are played by Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal respectively.
Scott is best known for his role as the “hot priest” in Fleabag , but has also delivered with memorable performances in Sherlock , Oslo and Kathryn Birdy .
Mescal is one of the fastest-rising stars in recent years, with his work in Ordinary People , Gone Girl , and After the Sun , the latter of which earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. We Are All Strangers is his second film in the final months of 2023, also starring The Enemy .
Claire Foy and Jamie Bell play the ghosts of Adam's parents.
Foy played Queen Elizabeth in the first two seasons of The Crown. Since then he has starred in the films First Man , A Very British Scandal and Girl Talk .
From an early age, Bell was attracted to the film Billy Elliot. Some of his famous works include U-turn: Washington's Spies , Rocket Man , No Regrets and Shining Girls .
