Talk To Me Reviews Promise One Of The Best Horror Movies Of The Year

Talk to Me received a lot of criticism. (Sorry, we had to.) But seriously, these early reviews of the new A24 FearFest make it seem like we're dealing with a new phenomenon, and by all accounts, Talk to Me might just be one of the best in horror. Movies of 2023.

We actually really like it, and you can read more about it in our Talk to Me review. Forget the “best horror movies ever”; we can probably call it one of the best movies ever.

If you're obsessed with "Barbie" and "Oppenheimer" (among dozens of other new summer movies), you've probably never heard of what's considered one of the best A24 movies in recent memory. Let us guide you to your scariest movie experiences.

Talk to me is a ghost film about Mia, a young woman who recently lost her mother. He is sad, but trying to move on. When she is invited to a party, she discovers that the ultimate party trick is an embalmed hand that once belonged to a medium.

If you take her hand and say "talk to me", you will be possessed by a ghost, and of course you will feel a real adrenaline rush. Of course, they couldn't let go of their obsession with “The Hand,” and a series of gruesome, gruesome crimes ensued.

Talk to Me is the directorial debut of brother duo Danny and Michael Philippou, who rose to fame for their YouTube comedy and horror videos under the RackaRacka channel. Talk to Me made them pioneers of film fame, and the pair caught the attention of horror legends such as Ari Aster and Jordan Peele.

Early reviews have praised the film, and it currently stands at 98% on Rotten Tomatoes and 75% on Metacritic. David Rooney of The Hollywood Reporter said the film "remains charming and chilling", while Jeannette Catsoulis of The New York Times referred to its "brilliant, jaw-dropping opening sequence".

Here at The Digital Fix, we love Talk to Me. It's a very refreshing take on the classic prop theme that brings out the original scares without relying on the overused jump scares. While it may seem like we're on the cusp of cinematic history, it's worth returning to theaters on Friday, July 28 for a dose of horror.
