China's Summer Box Office Take Soars With Yet More To Come

According to box office data from Dengta Data, China's summer film season grossed over 12 billion yuan ($1.68 billion) by the end of July.

A maximum of 10,000 subsidized tickets per day will be issued on weekdays and a maximum of 20,000 subsidized tickets per day on weekends and public holidays, so purchase tickets in advance.
More than 110 films of various genres are confirmed to be screened this summer. In August, Chinese cinemas will see more low- and mid-budget films on a variety of topics, breathing new life into the summer film market.
