Final D&D Honor Among Thieves Movie Trailer Released

Final D&D Honor Among Thieves Movie Trailer Released

The new glory of D&D among thieves has fallen. This latest attempt at an adaptation of the popular fantasy TTRPG Wizards of the Coast has received a lot of press lately. One of the reptiles showed practical results and the use of several popular breeding species.

The film was delayed due to scheduling conflicts, so it mimicked a real D&D campaign. The TTRPG had promotions such as official stat blocks for the main characters and the release of a free adventure with a movie location. Now this latest trailer contains one last splash of positivity before its release to the general public: quotes from positive reviews.

All in all, the new trailer uploaded to Paramount's YouTube channel is brand new footage. There are cutouts between some of the characters and what appears to be a short escape sequence involving the two main characters and Arachakra. However, the trailer is littered with quotes from positive reviews from various sources. Highlights included The Slash, "the longest Chris Pine and Chris Pine show in a long time", and Geek Dan called the film "a real crowd pleaser".

Overall, these verses seem like an homage to the standard D&D Among Thieves . The film currently holds an 87% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on Vanity Fair, Chicago Reader and Deadline Hollywood Daily reviews. Overall reviews describe the film as "an infectiously tender comedy with a strong emotional core". While there are currently no places to watch, there could be something positive on that front thanks to some lucky Amazon Prime members.

D&D Glory Among Thieves hits theaters March 31st.
