Review: 'Noise' Is An Interesting Story Exploring Many Themes

Netflix's new movie The Noise may appeal to some viewers. The film's poster shows a man's head with a split across his body and a house instead of the top, which doesn't lead to the film's defining theme. As the poster doesn't reveal the theme of the movie, the plot can attract the audience. Ultimately, that curiosity may or may not be satisfied.

Summary:

"The Noise" opens with Matthias, a successful social media influencer, visiting his father's country home with his wife Livy and newborn Julius. While investigating an abandoned factory that once belonged to his father, he discovers disturbing rumors and decides to investigate. At first, she does it as entertainment for her social media followers, but when she discovers the possible conspiracies and struggles with her tired and crying son, she reaches her limits. Things get more interesting when his wife realizes that he is right.

Highlights of the movie:-

The film has a very interesting story that seems unexplored and engages the audience; Unlike other recurring ideas, this one is new. Noise shows the extent of life as a social media influencer and how living in such conditions can lead to insanity or other undesirable consequences. Additionally, the film includes gruesome images and dizzying moments that seem to serve as a way to grab the audience's attention. Finally, the film takes the viewer into a deep story that makes him want to know how it will end.

Weaknesses of the film:

Although this desire is strong in the audience, it is not completely satisfied with the end of the plot and events. The first half of the events created high expectations for the plot, but what happens next doesn't live up to those high expectations. Some of the side stories don't add anything to the actual story, which makes me feel like they are trying to make up some time by adding these unnecessary scenes. The film as a whole seems to promise more than it delivers.

The movie confused me and the story itself was much longer than it should have been.

I give this movie a 4/10.
