'John Wick: Chapter 4' Called 'One Of The Greatest Action Movies Ever Made' In Glowing First Reactions
John Wick: Chapter 4 , the longest-running film in the franchise to date, received a quick response with the return of Keanu Reeves as John Wick.
The new film follows John Wick's journey to take down organized crime organization The High Table and new villain The Marquis of Gramont (Bill Skarsgård).
Reeves, 58, and Skarsgård, 32, will join Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada ( Rapid Train ), Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, pop musician Rina Sawayama and others in the upcoming film.
Critics shared their initial reactions to the film on social media in the days following its premiere, with many praising the film's pacing in the longest running of the series, its action choreography, and Yen's supporting performance.

CinemaBlend reviewer Eric Eisenberg tweeted Monday that the film is 169 minutes long.
Eisenberg wrote in the post, "It's a fast-paced epic that doesn't feel like a chore, and the sets are amazing." "Nice list of newcomers to the show, but Donnie Yen is the MVP."
"The three-hour runtime of John Wick 4 means a lot if you give it a try," Consequences editor Liz Shannon Miller tweeted Monday, teasing the film's thrilling final act. "Only the third act...excellent."

In a review posted to Twitter on Monday, film critic Eric Weber called John Wick : Chapter 4 "one of the greatest action movies of all time" and wrote that the sequel "matched its three predecessors in terms of ... story, scope and count." surpassed by breathtaking scenes." ." "
Rotten Tomatoes reviewer Kirsten Acuna tweeted that actor Donnie Yen was a "wonderful addition to the franchise" and emerged as one of the film's highlights, suggesting the film's ending will generate controversy among viewers.

Collider's Teresa Lacson wrote that director Chad Stahelski "counts every frame" in the action-packed sequel.
"Yeah, it's funny. Yes, it's video game logic," he shared in a Twitter post Monday. "Yes, it's useless. Yes, I will see him again!
Nerd Reactor's John Nguyen tweeted that the film's action is impressive compared to the rest of the series, with "armored ninjas, blazing guns, epic gunfights and more."
"Donnie Yen is definitely the icing on the cake," wrote Nguyen, who also praised the film for completing the John Wick story.
John Wick: Chapter 4 hits theaters on March 24th.
