Le Visiteur du Tur, the creator of the sci-fi comedy web series François Descracks, is turning the series into a film. Most of the series' cast returns, along with two newcomers, Arnaud Ducret and Enya Baruki. In theaters September 7, 2022.
This is what project fans have been waiting for for years. The web series Le Visiteur du Futur is being turned into a movie, which will be released on September 7, 2022 . While Francois Descartes is still behind the camera, most of the cast is back, obviously Florent Dorin as the iconic time traveler, but also Raphael Descartes, Slimane-Baptiste Berhun, Mathieu Poggi, Ludovic and Simon Astaire, among others. . New characters played by Arnaud Ducray and Anya Baru are also introduced.
In the year In 2009 , the web series Le Visiteur du Futur appeared on YouTube, created, written and directed by François Descartes . Originally made of three threads, his good writing skills attracted the creators who allowed him to become a professional. The series ran for 4 seasons and ended in 2014. It has since continued in other media (novels and comics) .

Our review.
Although the era of amateur production is behind us, we feel that director Francois DeCrouse would love to return to the film "Visiting the Future", the masterpiece of his entire career . With this film he achieved a double feat: he brought the French web series to cinemas for the first time, but managed to make a real sci-fi film with French special effects, a genre that our producers don't particularly like. . . For the damage.
That is why it is important to support such an art film . Science fiction, especially when it comes from the Internet, is difficult to create, and the success of Le Visiteur du Futur legitimizes the genre. But of course, this is not the only thing we recommend the film. This is a great achievement ! Never cheap, despite its modest budget, the film knows how to play to its strengths and weaknesses. Being super mature people, we feel the attention to every detail in a movie that is funny and amazing. In dialogues we found the great talent of the director, which was a good quality of the series (and all other works of this author) .
Also, you don't need to watch the TV series to understand all the movie's themes . Like any good transmedia universe, each part of the universe is independent and complementary, so the film itself is enough . The new characters played by Arnaud Ducret and Anya Baruch introduce all the characters to the new audience at the same time and give them a great entry into this universe. However, watch the series, read the novel ( La Meute , with Wiesel, played by Asa Silas) and the manga ( La Brigade Temporelle , with Louise, played by Audrey Pirro).
