Knock At The Cabin, M. Night Shyamalans Latest Movie: Trailer And Review

M. Night Shyamalan will return to theaters in 2023 with the new movie Cabin Knock. The post-apocalyptic thriller, based on the novel by Dave Bautista and Rupert Grint, will be released on February 1, 2023.
How prolific M. Night Shyamalan is! After the release of the film " Old " in July 2021, the director is preparing to shoot his latest film . The thriller “ Knock on the Hut ” will premiere in French cinemas on February 1, 2023 .

As before, Knock at the Cabin is based on the 2018 novel A Cabin in a Cabin by Paul G. Tremblay . In this terrifying post-apocalyptic thriller, M. Night Shyamalan directs Dave Bautista ( Blade Runner 2049 , Drax in The Avengers , Dune ), Abby Quinn ( Little Women ), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley in Harry Potter), " The Jonathan Groff " . ) Resurrection ), Nicky Amuka-Bird (already starring in Stara ) and Ben Aldridge ( Pigbag and Kingdom series).
In addition to creating and writing the film , M. Night Shyamalan is also producing the film, with producers he previously worked with on the television series Split , Glass , and Servant .
Insight:
In Knock on the Cabin , M. Night Shyamalan continues to show family relationships in crisis, as he already did in The Old Man . As in the previous film, there is again a meeting behind closed doors in a seemingly isolated and heavenly resort...
The film opens with a close-up of grasshoppers, showing it as a microcosm , but soon the silence of the desert gives way to chaos. Brilliantly played by Kristen Tsui , a very mature character for her age, the peaceful vacation of young Wen and her parents is interrupted by 4 madmen armed with tools. The tension - very palpable throughout the film - begins with whether or not the family will open the door to these 4 maniacs, whose appearance is reminiscent of Michael Haneke's USA Fun Games and senseless violence.
Among the 4 is Dave Bautista , whose incredible figure is accentuated by Ven Jr. And M. Night Shyamalan does a great job of bringing that to the screen. The director gives the ex-Seeker the most dramatic part of his career and he does it well. And the group that really believes in the apocalypse is Rupert Grint .
The tension never lets up in Knock at the Cabin , where a happy family dances to KC Boogie Shoes and The Sunshine Band as they fight for their lives and their humanity. In the end, " Knock on the Shack ", which we didn't like as much as the whole film, reveals all its fantasy .

While on vacation in an isolated cabin in the middle of the desert, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who ask them to make impossible choices in order to prevent the impending apocalypse. With little or no means of communicating with the rest of the world, they will have to make decisions for themselves.
