ANTMAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA Movie Review
Parking is there.
And not here to play.
THE DEAD AND THEIR SIGNS. QUANTUMANIA is a stunning visual spectacle. It's the best of the Ant-Man films, with the humor, heart, and Kang Dynasty connections we've come to expect.
MIXED AND MIDDLE MAN. QUANTUMANIA Movie Review – Big Surprise, Little Failure, and Big Introduction to Phase 5!
From the three Ant-Man films, ANT-MAN AND THE WASP. QUANTUMANIA is visually stunning and wild at its best and will spark your imagination as you enter a whole world beyond time and space. . Microscopic organisms and more live in the Quantum Realm as Scott Lang, Hope Van Dyne, Cassie Lang, Hank Pym, and Janet Van Dyne suddenly plunge into a strange and wild universe.
Fans of family-themed Ant-Man stories will love seeing the whole family fighting together in the Quantum Realm. It's rare to see an entire superhero family on screen, and the Lang-Van Dyne-Pim family working together in the QR universe is the kind of fun family atmosphere we need more in movies. The emotion that fueled this entry in Act 5 is something we hope will continue throughout this act.
Taking cues from films like The Wizard of Oz , Star Wars , Dune , Strange World , and many other sci-fi/fantasy films, QUANTUMANIA has a truly otherworldly feel to it.
MIXED AND MIDDLE MAN. QUANTUMANIA Movie Review - What Works?
Jonathan Majors SHOOT as Kang the Conqueror. Major ordered every scene that only a few actors could do; Those familiar with Disney+ Loki know that Tom Hiddleston's Loki has faced gravity. We can't wait to see more of this duo on screen in Loki Season 2.
Major is a brilliant actor. What he can convey in one look is more interesting than several actors in an entire scene. The depth he brings to the role of Kang is terrifying. Summarize her appearance in one word. Refrigeration:
Kathryn Newton is a dancer who made her Marvel Studios debut as Cassie Lange. We need Gen Z teens who are smarter and more cunning in MCU statistics.
Paul Rudd takes his usual charm to a whole new level.
Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas have become increasingly prominent roles, and it's great to see the original Ant-Man and The Wasp get some screen time together as the powerful superhero duo we know then and in the comics.
Evangeline stars as Lily 's Hope, a humanitarian superhero and stepmother to her teenage daughter. His presence warmed every scene he was in, and the chemistry he and Paul Rudd brought to the Ant-Man and the Wasp relationship was so real.
Davit Dastmalchyan's role as Webb is charming and funny. While scenes from the first Ant-Man film are ludicrous tropes, it's nice to see Dastmalchian return to the franchise.
Music
Like the first two Ant-Man films, the QUANTUMANIA soundtrack is sickening.

- Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Remastered (2014) by Elton John

MIXED AND MIDDLE MAN. QUANTUMMANA Film Review - What's Up?
MODOK is elective and attractive. The design is unique to say the least. Leaning on MODOKs (mechanical organisms designed only to kill) is one thing that doesn't make sense, but perhaps the human faces being crushed in almost every scene are a bit too much. The mask is better to show MODOK because that face is really disturbing.
Luis Michael Pena is once again absent from this third installment of Ant-Man, but there's even plenty of opportunity for a cameo that would make a great addition to our beloved narrator. Completely lacking in terms of story.
MIXED AND MIDDLE MAN. QUANTUMMANA movie review. Post-credits scene and ending
We're not going to spoil them, but these are two big stingers. You can't miss the post-credits scene and the end-credits scene.
MIXED AND MIDDLE MAN. QUANTUMMAN Movie Review - Summary
In general, Ant-Man and the Wasp. Quantumania is a wild and strange journey into a new world with lots of familiar faces and it introduces us to some new characters to look forward to. Fans of the first two Ant-Man films will likely enjoy this one as it features the same main cast and was directed by the same director.
While Jeff Loveness' script may not be for everyone, it certainly exists to remind us that not only is family (and choice) most important, but that the MCU is a beautiful, mysterious, and wild place that has yet to be explored.
