When Does 'The White Lotus' Season 2 Premiere? Trailer, Cast And Everything To Know

It's been over a year since the hit HBO series took viewers on an unforgettable vacation in Hawaii . Guest satire at a luxury resort won 10 Emmy Awards, including Best Miniseries or Anthology.
Part Two opens tonight, October 30th, but the reviews are already over. The new season currently has a score of 81 on Metacritic, which is the same score as last season.
The second season is set in a seaside resort in Sicily and mostly follows all the new characters. The show is written and directed by Mike White (writer of HBO comedy-drama Enlightened and former cast member of CBS show Survivor). The official trailer raises a problem brewing in paradise.
There are two other things to look forward to: Jennifer Coolidge reprises her role as wealthy guest star in her own right Tanya McQuaid, and comedian-actress Aubrey Plaza joins the cast. Here's everything you need to know about The White Lotus season 2.
Who will be in Italy?
This season, a new lineup joins the White Lotus. Here are some general descriptions of the characters, courtesy of HBO, and the actors who play them.
The news is as good as a massage at a spa: After Jennifer Coolidge won an Emmy for her role as Tanya last season, Jennifer Coolidge is returning to play the same heroine.
The Sicilian Tania (John Grace), whom she met in Hawaii in the first season, and his assistant Portia (Halle Lou Richardson) will be a new character. Greg, who married Tania, isn't thrilled that Portia is continuing her romantic journey.
Bert de Grasso (F. Murray Abraham) also packed for Italy; son Dominic (Michael Imperioli); and his grandson Albee (Adam de Marco).
Bert grows weak but still thinks he's a man and capable. Dominic, a Hollywood producer, visits his family to research their ancestry. Albee, a handsome college grad, often keeps a cool head.
Two couples relax together. First, she is housewife Daphne (Meghan Fahey) and successful businessman Cameron (Theo James). The other couple are Ethan (Will Sharp), Cameron's recently successful college classmate, and his wife Harper (Aubrey Plaza).
English immigrant Quentin (Tom Hollander) is accompanied by his nephew Jack (Leo Woodall). You will also meet two Sicilian citizens: Mia (Beatrice Granno), a talented singer, and Lucia (Simon Tabasco), who often visits the White Lotus Resort in search of work.
After all, Valentina (Sabrina Impacciatore) is the designated manager of the resort.
How many episodes will there be?
The second season of The White Lotus consists of seven episodes. Like the first season, the show takes place at a resort over a week.
Is there a trailer for The White Lotus season 2?
Alongside the official promotion, HBO released a 30-second teaser. Jennifer Coolidge narrates an ad for a fictional network on the show. "There are still a few important brands out there," he said off-screen. "But every time I stay at a White Lotus Hotel, it is always an unforgettable experience." At the end, the logo of the White Lotus Resort & Spa Sicily appears.
In a short video, Coolidge relaxes on a boat. The rest showcases luxurious accommodation, including a huge pool and a smiling crew.
